TetherIA, a company founded by core members of Tesla Optimus, has formed a strategic partnership with Jingzhi Sense and Agile Hand
Recently, Jinghua New Material's subsidiary Jingzhi Sensor's U.S. branch FiSensor officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Silicon Valley robotics company TetherIA. This collaboration will focus on the integration of "multimodal electronic skin + tendon-driven dexterous hands," jointly promoting technological breakthroughs in tactile perception and high-precision operation in robotics, and creating a new generation of intelligent dexterous hand systems that are perceptive, learnable, and mass-producible. It is reported that TetherIA.ai is a full-stack robotics company located in Silicon Valley, co-founded by core members of the Tesla Optimus dexterous hand team and early team members of Waymo's foundational large model. Founder and CEO Evan previously served as the head of the Tesla Optimus dexterous hand, leading the team to complete the research and development of Tesla's second-generation dexterous hand. TetherIA.ai's first humanoid five-finger tendon-driven dexterous hand will be officially launched at the Machine Learning Conference held at the COEX Convention Center in Seoul, South Korea, from September 27 to 30, 2025. This product is expected to become the lightest and smallest high-degree-of-freedom dexterous hand on the market
