Ministry of Transport: In response to issues such as platform fees, four major online freight platform companies have implemented corresponding preferential measures
On September 28th, the State Council Information Office held a press conference regarding the transportation service guarantee during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays. Li Yang, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Transport, stated at the conference that in May this year, the Ministry of Transport, in conjunction with the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, launched a standardized improvement action for "Driver's Home" service areas on highways nationwide, aiming to further improve the parking and resting environment for drivers and provide them with more convenient and thoughtful services. In addition, Li Yang pointed out that in response to the frequent complaints from truck drivers regarding debts and platform fees, the Ministry of Transport urged the four major online freight platforms—Full Truck Alliance, Lalamove, DiDi Delivery, and GOGOX—to publicly release measures to reduce platform fees on a "one company, one policy" basis. These four platforms have also actively responded to government requests and implemented corresponding preferential measures according to their capabilities and service targets. Furthermore, the Ministry of Transport organized the China Road Transport Association to guide the four major online freight platforms to publicly announce a self-discipline convention to protect the legal rights and interests of truck drivers, making ten public commitments, and invited all sectors to supervise together to create a good working environment for driver friends
