According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Befar (601678.SH) announced that in order to promote the utilization of the vast land resources and rich wind and solar resources in the Binhai North Economic Development Zone and Wudi County, achieve local consumption of wind and solar new energy, build a diversified and intelligent energy supply and consumption system, create a model for the coupled development of "new energy + chemical industry," and accelerate the company's green and low-carbon transformation and development, the company plans to invest in the construction of the Binhai Group Beihai Binhua New Materials Source Network Integrated Project through its holding subsidiary Shandong Binhua New Energy Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Binhua New Energy"). This project includes a 160MW wind power plant, a 100MW photovoltaic power station, a 130MW/260MWh energy storage device, and a 110kV booster station (including an intelligent energy comprehensive dispatch and control center, etc.), with a total investment of 1.421 billion yuan
