U.S. crude oil futures closed roughly flat, while New York natural gas rose over 4%
WTI November crude oil futures closed up $0.04, an increase of 0.06%, at $61.73 per barrel.
Middle East Abu Dhabi Murban crude oil futures fell 0.28%, at $66.66 per barrel.
NYMEX November natural gas futures closed up 4.20%, at $3.4980 per million British thermal units.
NYMEX November gasoline futures closed at $1.8939 per gallon, and NYMEX November heating oil futures closed at $2.2653 per gallon.
On Tuesday (October 7), at the end of the European market, ICE UK natural gas futures rose 0.97%, TTF benchmark Dutch natural gas futures rose 0.63%, and ICE EU carbon emission trading permits (futures prices) fell 0.55%
