During the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, Shenzhen received over 9.2 million tourists
According to the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports, the city received 9.2026 million tourists, an increase of 12.4% compared to the seven-day National Day holiday in 2024. Among them, foreign tourists entering the country totaled 91,000, an increase of 145.2%; total tourism revenue reached 8.94 billion yuan, an increase of 17.6%. This holiday, inbound tourism from foreigners was also very popular. From October 1 to 6, the number of foreigners entering through Shenzhen Airport increased by 50% year-on-year, with visa-free entries increasing by 205% year-on-year. (Shenzhen Special Zone Daily)
