For the installation of elevators in existing residential buildings within the administrative region of this city, the property owners and their spouses, children, and their spouses can apply to withdraw the housing provident fund. For the renovation of old elevators in existing residential buildings within the administrative region of this city, the property owners and their spouses can apply to withdraw the housing provident fund.

The applicant for withdrawal should apply for the housing provident fund in a lump sum within two years after the elevator completion acceptance. For the same housing unit, the total amount withdrawn from the housing provident fund shall not exceed the amount directly contributed by the property owner for the installation of the elevator or the renovation of the old elevator.

If the applicant has an outstanding personal housing provident fund loan, there should be no overdue situation for the current loan when applying for the withdrawal of the housing provident fund.

This notice shall take effect from the date of issuance and is valid for 5 years. The "Notice of the Tianjin Municipal People's Government on the Policies for Withdrawing Housing Provident Fund for the Installation of Elevators in Existing Residential Buildings" is simultaneously abolished
