According to Zhitong Finance APP, gold and jewelry stocks are among the top gainers. As of the time of publication, LAOPU GOLD (06181) rose by 10.39% to HKD 765; CHOW SANG SANG (00116) increased by 7.21% to HKD 14.58; CHOW TAI FOOK (01929) climbed by 5.13% to HKD 15.36; and LUK FOOK HOLD (00590) went up by 3.35% to HKD 25.28.

On the news front, according to Shanghai Securities News, on October 15, both international and domestic gold prices reached new highs. On that day, several gold and jewelry brands announced that the prices of domestic pure gold jewelry also surged, with some exceeding the threshold of RMB 1235 per gram.
