In the third quarter, MONGOL MINING's total raw coal production at the UHG and BN mines was 3.6043 million tons

According to the announcement from MONGOL MINING (00975), the group's wholly-owned subsidiary Energy Resources LLC (ER) operates the Ukhaa Khudag (UHG) coking coal mine, while the group's holding subsidiary Khangad Exploration LLC (KEX) operates the Baruun Naran (BN) coking coal mine, both located in the Umnugobi province of Mongolia. The group is the largest producer and exporter of washed coking coal products in Mongolia. In the third quarter of 2025, the group's operating subsidiaries ER and KEX sold a total of 2.3032 million tons of washed coking coal products. This represents a quarter-on-quarter increase of 32% compared to the previous quarter ending June 30, 2025, and a year-on-year increase of 13% compared to the same period in 2024. For the quarter ending September 30, 2025, the total raw coal extraction from the UHG and BN mines was 3.6043 million tons, which is a quarter-on-quarter increase of 5% and a year-on-year decrease of 16% compared to the same periods ending June 30, 2025, and September 30, 2024, respectively. The group processed a total of 3.7538 million tons of raw coking coal to produce 2.103 million tons of washed coking coal products, which is a quarter-on-quarter decrease of 3% compared to the previous quarter ending June 30, 2025, and a year-on-year increase of 9% compared to the same period ending September 30, 2024. The commercial gold production at the BKH mine was officially launched at a ceremony held on September 14, 2025. Management, employees, and contractors from the company, Erdene Resource Development Corporation, and EM, as well as official representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, the Bank of Mongolia, and Bayankhongor province attended the ceremony. For the quarter ending September 30, 2025, EM sold 342 ounces of gold and 96 ounces of silver to the Bank of Mongolia and authorized commercial banks, with a weighted average price of gold at $3,805.18 per ounce and silver at $44.15 per ounce, calculated using the spot price valued in Tugrik (local currency) and the applicable Tugrik to USD exchange rate. Following the successful completion of construction and commissioning for the quarter ending September 30, 2025, the BKH mine is expected to achieve its rated capacity in the fourth quarter of 2025.
