
Shenzhen-based MGI "sells technology" and will receive no less than $120 million in licensing fees
On October 28th, Shenzhen MGI Technology Co., Ltd. announced that it will reach a technology licensing cooperation with Swiss biotechnology company Swiss Rockets AG through its American subsidiary. According to the agreement, MGI Technology will grant an exclusive license/non-exclusive license for a patent, trademark, proprietary technology, and software related to a sequencing technology called "CoolMPS" to Swiss Rockets for development, production, and commercialization in global markets outside of the Asia-Pacific and Greater China regions. During the normal performance of this cooperation until the expiration of the exclusive licensing period, MGI Technology will receive a total licensing fee of no less than $120 million
