Chinese capacitor film manufacturer HAIWEI ELEC (09609.HK) is conducting an IPO in Hong Kong, planning to globally offer 30.8314 million H shares, with approximately 10% (3.0832 million shares) allocated for public offering in Hong Kong and about 90% (27.7482 million shares) for international placement. The offer price is set at HKD 14.28 per share, aiming to raise approximately HKD 440 million. The minimum trading unit is 200 shares, with an entry fee of about HKD 2,884.8. The subscription period runs from today (20th) to next Tuesday (25th), with listing expected on the 28th of this month, and China International Capital Corporation (CICC) serving as the sole sponsor.

The net proceeds from the fundraising are approximately HKD 389 million, of which about 82% will be used to expand production capacity, around 5% will be invested in research and development capabilities, about 3% will be allocated for sales and marketing, and the remaining 10% will be used as working capital.
