# HUASHENG INTL's interim loss widened to HKD 41.77 million, no dividend declared

According to a report from Economic Information Daily on the 1st, HUASHENG INTL (01323) announced a mid-term loss of HKD 41.774 million for the period ending September 30, which is an increase from a loss of HKD 24.399 million in the same period last year; the loss per share is HKD 0.0553, and no interim dividend will be distributed.

The group stated that revenue was HKD 160 million, down 19.3%; gross profit was HKD 12.933 million, down 65.5%; the gross profit margin was approximately 8%, down 10.7 percentage points; and the pre-tax loss widened to HKD 36.021 million. (wh)
