
The pan-European Stoxx 600 closed flat, Bayer gained 12% after the U.S. limited herbicide lawsuits
European stock markets found no momentum on Tuesday, with the pan-European Stoxx 600 closing up less than 0.1%.
German biotech giant Bayer received support from the Trump administration on Monday to curb lawsuits against its herbicide Roundup in the United States. The company's stock price rose 12%.
The UK FTSE 100 index closed down less than 1 point at 9,701 points. The German DAX index closed up 121 points or 0.5% at 23,710 points. The French CAC 40 index closed down 22 points or 0.3% at 8,074 points
