The maker of Tide detergent, Mr. Clean, Pampers, Gillette, and a whole bunch of other brands you use every single day just said that sales were down “significantly” in October and that it likely continued right on through November. This tracks with where Christmas holiday shopping has been so far, with Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
