Last month, the board had already approved the fundraising plan via the QIP route.QIP allows listed companies to raise capital from qualified institutional buyers such as mutual funds and insurance companies by issuing fresh shares. Through its subsidiary, Reliance Nu Energies, the company aims to develop 4GW of solar power and 6.5GWh of battery storage.On the financial side, RPower has achieved zero net debt at the standalone level, with a consolidated debt-to-equity ratio of 0.87, one of the lowest in the industry.The strategy supports India's renewable energy goal of 280GW of solar capacity by 2030.
