Dec 12 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1030 GMT on Friday: British money manager Aberdeen (ABDN.L) said it would acquire the management of nine U.S.-based closed-end funds with assets totalling 1.5 billion pounds ($2 billion), part of an ongoing drive to expand in the U.S. market.
China’s Jiangxi Copper (600362.SS) has raised its takeover offer for gold and copper miner SolGold (SOLG.L) to 28 pence per share, valuing the company at about 842 million pounds ($1.13 billion), the companies said .
Retailers Destination XL Group (DXLG.O) and FullBeauty Brands agreed to merge, creating a bigger player in the size-inclusive apparel market, the companies announced on Thursday, confirming an earlier Reuters report. BNP Paribas (BNPP.PA) has entered exclusive talks to sell its 67% stake in its Moroccan unit BMCI to Holmarcom Group, France’s biggest bank said.
