The Financial Times of the UK reported, citing sources, that Coca Cola (KO.US) is facing the collapse of the sale of the UK coffee chain Costa Coffee and is in final negotiations with private equity firm TDR Capital.
It is reported that TDR was previously selected as the preferred bidder for Costa Coffee, but TDR and Coca Cola have reached a deadlock over pricing issues. At the same time, Coca Cola also hopes to retain a minority stake in Costa Coffee
