The photovoltaic and wind farm operator CONCORD NE Group Limited (0182.HK) announced on Friday that it has received approval from the China Securities Regulatory Commission for a secondary listing in Singapore. The CSRC published an announcement on its official website the same day, formally filing the plan.
CONCORD NE first announced its Singapore listing plan in February, stating that this move does not involve any new financing or new share issuance. The company indicated that the initiative aims to broaden its shareholder base and open up space for potential new financing channels in the future. It submitted an application to the Singapore Exchange in April, and the approval from the securities regulatory commission clears the last major regulatory requirement for the listing plan.
In the first half of this year, CONCORD NE reported revenue of 1.4 billion yuan, a decrease of 7% compared to 1.5 billion yuan in the same period last year. Profit during the period fell 44% to 282 million yuan from 501 million yuan in the same period last year.
