
January 8th Midday Review: Shanghai Composite Index rises 0.09% in half a day, brain-computer interface and commercial aerospace concepts continue to be strong
The Shanghai Composite Index experienced narrow fluctuations in the morning, while the ChiNext Index showed slightly weaker performance. The brain-computer interface concept continued to be strong, with Pulit and Innovation Medical both achieving four consecutive trading limits. The controllable nuclear fusion concept surged, with China Nuclear Engineering and Snowman Group both hitting two consecutive trading limits. The commercial aerospace concept continued to strengthen, with over ten stocks including Aerospace Electric and Aerospace Electronics reaching their daily limits. The AI application sector was active, with HAND and Join-cheer hitting their daily limits. On the downside, brokerage stocks faced adjustments, with Hualin Securities hitting the daily limit down. More stocks rose than fell, with about 3,700 stocks in the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets in the green, and a total turnover of 1.78 trillion in the morning session. At the midday close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose by 0.09%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell by 0.2%, and the ChiNext Index fell by 0.52%
