According to sources cited by Bloomberg, the spirits company Diageo is considering various strategic options for its assets in China, including asset divestitures, to further streamline its product portfolio.
It is reported that Diageo is working with Goldman Sachs and UBS to review its business, which includes a stake of over 63% in SCSF (600779.SH). Advisors have made preliminary contacts with local strategic buyers and private equity firms to gauge their acquisition interest.
