# Investing in copper bars has become popular, but there is currently no clear recycling path

With the prices of precious metals reaching new highs, copper, which had previously been overlooked, has also become an "investment commodity." Many merchants in jewelry distribution hubs have launched 1000-gram copper bar products, and "investment copper bars" have quickly gained popularity in the market. However, unlike the mature recycling systems for gold and silver, most merchants selling investment copper bars clearly state that they only sell and do not buy back. Some merchants indicate that they can sell on behalf of investors, but individual investors who purchase copper bars may likely find themselves in a "difficult to liquidate" situation. (China Voice)
