South Korea's Hyundai Motor announced earlier this month plans to deploy humanoid robots at its factory in Georgia, USA, starting in 2028. However, according to the Korea Herald, the Hyundai Motor union warned that without reaching a consensus between labor and management, the company cannot deploy humanoid robots without approval, to avoid potential impacts on employment. It also pointed out that the transfer of production to overseas factories has already led to instability in employment conditions at domestic factories.
