# The three major A-share indices fell collectively, real estate stocks rebounded, the Hang Seng Index and the Hang Seng Tech Index both dropped over 1%, technology stocks generally declined, chip stocks rose against the trend, and Shanghai silver plummeted 7%

A-share real estate stocks rebounded, with the latest data from the National Bureau of Statistics showing that the month-on-month decline in commodity residential sales prices in first, second, and third-tier cities narrowed overall in January. Overnight, due to investor concerns about artificial intelligence disrupting the business models of many industries, combined with the largest decline in U.S. existing home sales in four years, market risk aversion was triggered. Investors sold off stocks, commodities, and other risk assets, while the gold and silver markets were sold off due to liquidity demands, with Shanghai gold and silver continuing to decline in the night session.

On February 13, A-shares fluctuated and fell in early trading, with the three major indices initially declining. The semiconductor industry chain rose, while sectors such as non-ferrous metals and computing hardware stocks collectively adjusted. Hong Kong stocks opened significantly lower, with the Hang Seng Index and Hang Seng Tech Index both down over 1% at the start, while tech stocks fell across the board, and chip stocks rose against the trend.

In the bond market, government bond futures showed a mixed trend, with 30-year government bond futures rising. In terms of commodities, most domestic commodity futures fell, with Shanghai silver down over 7%, and metals such as tin and nickel leading the declines. Core market trends:

Rubber, the shipping index, glass, rapeseed, industrial silicon, manganese silicon, pulp, and coking coal also declined. Hot-rolled coils, polysilicon, alumina, rebar, coke, soybean meal, and eggs rose, with caustic soda rising over 3%.

The real estate sector fluctuated and rose, with Beijing Energy Holding Co. Ltd. hitting the daily limit, and Shenzhen Zhenye A, Bright Real Estate, GREATTOWN, Sanxiang Impression, and WORLDUNION following suit 
In terms of news, the chief statistician of the Urban Division of the National Bureau of Statistics stated that in January, the month-on-month decline in sales prices of commercial residential properties in first, second, and third-tier cities generally narrowed. The month-on-month sales price of second-hand residential properties in first-tier cities decreased by 0.5%, a decrease of 0.4 percentage points compared to the previous month.

Chip stocks in Hong Kong rose against the trend, with TianShuZhiXin rising over 7% to reach a new high, AiXinYuanZhi rising over 8%, and ZhaoYiChuangXin and TianYu Semiconductor rising over 3%.

The military industry sector saw a surge, with the shipbuilding and marine engineering sectors leading the rise. YaXing Anchor Chain hit the daily limit, followed by JiangLong Shipbuilding, GuoRui Technology, ZhongKe HaiXun, China Shipbuilding Defense, and China Marine Defense.

The computing power leasing concept was repeatedly active, with ErLiuSan and HuaSheng TianCheng hitting the daily limit, followed by Capital Online, Dawei Technology, TuoWei Information, PingZhi Information, and Data Port.

In terms of news, on February 11, UCloud announced that due to intensified global supply chain fluctuations and significant increases in core hardware procurement and other infrastructure costs, it has decided to implement a price increase adjustment for all renewed and new users' full line of cloud products and services starting from March 1, 2026.

The Shanghai Composite Index opened down 0.44%, and the ChiNext Index fell 0.56%. The gold, base metals, and oil and gas sectors saw significant declines, while photovoltaic, CPO, deep-sea technology, and semiconductor themes weakened. Consumer concept stocks strengthened.

The Hang Seng Index opened down 1.45%, and the Hang Seng Technology Index fell 1.59%. Tech stocks fell across the board, with Tencent Music down over 6%, Zijin Mining, Baidu Group, and Bilibili down over 3%. The new stock Haizhi Technology Group rose over 200% on its first day of listing.
