Coco Healthcare "dismisses" independent director, causing controversy; company secretary responds
Coco Healthcare recently issued a notice regarding the removal of the independent director, stating that independent director Jing Naiquan has lost his independence, failed to fulfill his due diligence obligations, and lacks the professional ethics required of an independent director, making him unsuitable to continue serving in this role. The board of directors has proposed to remove him from his position, which has attracted widespread attention in the market. On February 24th, Coco Healthcare's secretary of the board, Wang Xiangting, responded that the key reason for the decision to remove the independent director was Jing Naiquan's disregard for the interests of the company and minority shareholders in the dispute over the compensation of director Bao Jiaxin, which violated the company's "Compensation Plan of the Fifth Board of Directors."
