# Apple launches the entry-level laptop MacBook Neo starting at HKD 4,799 with four color options

Apple Inc. (AAPL.US) announced on Wednesday the launch of the low-end laptop MacBook Neo, starting at a price of $599, with a starting price of HKD 4,799 in Hong Kong. Pre-orders begin today, and sales will start on March 11 (next Wednesday), with a limit of two units per person.

The MacBook Neo is significantly lower than the current price of $8,999 for the latest MacBook Air. The MacBook Neo features a 13-inch screen and will be available in four colors: citrus yellow, silver, indigo, and blush, aiming to challenge Windows PCs and Chromebooks
