SCI: Retail price limits for refined oil may face the largest adjustment in nearly four years
Due to the recent escalation of geopolitical tensions and the strong market concerns, international crude oil prices have been continuously pushed up. As a result, during this period (from 24:00 on February 24 to 24:00 on March 9), the domestic reference crude oil price change rate briefly decreased within the positive range before continuing to rise. According to SCI's calculations, as of the close on March 6, the reference crude oil price change rate was 15.12%. It is expected that at 24:00 on March 9, domestic retail prices for gasoline and diesel will be increased by 695 and 670 yuan/ton respectively. In terms of price per liter, 92# gasoline, 95# gasoline, and 0# diesel will be increased by 0.55, 0.58, and 0.57 yuan respectively. This adjustment marks the largest increase since 24:00 on March 17, 2022
