Douyin releases the "Future Director Support Plan" to build a dedicated traffic pool of 10 billion

Douyin has launched the "Future Director Support Program," which will provide support for creators in three major tracks: variety shows, short films, and documentaries, including traffic support, commercial monetization, and industry resource collaboration.

After entering the second phase of the project, Douyin will establish a dedicated traffic pool with a scale of 10 billion and introduce a "commitment-based business order" mechanism to enhance income certainty for creators.

Differentiated support strategies will be formulated for different tracks, including: co-producing high-quality content in the variety show field with iQIYI; providing film festival screenings and film IP linkage resources for the short film track; and opening professional co-creation opportunities for the documentary track
