# In the first quarter of this year, Southern Power Grid's fixed asset investment increased by 49.5% year-on-year

On February 2nd, China Southern Power Grid Company announced that in the first quarter of this year, it completed fixed asset investment of 38.45 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 49.5%. The scale of bidding and procurement reached 78.4 billion yuan, with the amount of material and construction bidding increasing by 25% year-on-year; it completed project material supply of 21.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 43%; all material payments were made, with a cumulative payment of 16.8 billion yuan for various materials, a year-on-year increase of 41%. It is understood that China Southern Power Grid plans to complete fixed asset investment of 180 billion yuan by 2026, and the investment scale during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period will approach one trillion yuan, which is expected to drive upstream and downstream industry chain investments to reach 2 trillion yuan
