Zimbabwe Lithium Concentrate Exports Ease? Industry Leader Responds: Secured 200,000 Ton Quota
On April 13, the lithium mining sector experienced volatile upward movement, with multiple stocks including Chengxin Lithium and Dazhong Mining closing at the daily limit up, and Canmax Technologies rising by 17.42%. According to news, the Zimbabwean government has eased restrictions on lithium concentrate exports, granting export quotas to several Chinese companies. In response, reporters sought confirmation from SINOMINE, Chengxin Lithium, Huayou Cobalt, and other companies. A representative from SINOMINE stated: "This is indeed true; we have secured a 200,000-ton quota, which is roughly equivalent to our monthly production locally."
