Nomura study says 65% of institutional investors see crypto as a vital portfolio diversifier

A Nomura study reveals that 65% of institutional investors view cryptocurrency as a crucial portfolio diversifier. The percentage of investors with a positive outlook on crypto has increased to 31% from 25% in 2024. Additionally, 79% of those considering crypto intend to invest within the next three years, typically allocating 2%–5% of their portfolios. Interest is also growing in staking, lending, derivatives, and tokenized assets, moving beyond just spot exposure.
