# According to "Economics," in April, the average house price in the UK as reported by Rightmove increased by 0.8% month-on-month

The UK online real estate trading platform Rightmove announced that in April, the average asking price for houses in the UK rose by 0.8% or £2,929 month-on-month, reaching nearly £374,000, which is lower than the long-term average increase for April in previous years (1.2%). Year-on-year, it fell by 0.9%.

Analysis indicates that buyers' bidding attitudes have become more moderate, likely due to high mortgage rates and intense competition, with the number of residential units listed for sale reaching an eleven-year high
