DGrid AI has announced the launch of its AI inference API, which integrates the x402 payment protocol. According to ChainCatcher, this API uniquely combines payment logic with AI model invocation, allowing developers and AI agents to authorize, infer, and pay within a single API request lifecycle without managing complex API keys or centralized account prepayments. The API currently supports BNB Chain (BSC) as the underlying settlement network.
