# Shuangliang Core Equipment Supports the Launch of the China National Nuclear Corporation Jinta Green Electricity Supply Project

Recently, the launch ceremony for the China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) Jinta Energy Island and Zero Carbon Green Electricity Supply Project was successfully held in Jinta County, Jiuquan, Gansu. Leaders from Jinta Huike, CNNC Design, and Shuangliang Group gathered at the site to witness this milestone moment in the energy sector and to outline a new blueprint for the development of zero-carbon parks.

**Creating a Benchmark for Global Zero Carbon Energy Islands**

The CNNC Jinta Gas Supply Station project, as CNNC's first self-consumption and power supply coupling project for new energy, has been included in the national "14th Five-Year Plan" third batch of key projects for large-scale wind and photovoltaic bases in desert areas. The project is based on the "New Energy +" integrated development path, promoting an innovative breakthrough from "single power supply" to "coupled power and gas supply," and from "conventional energy security" to "integrated wind, solar, and thermal storage." Once completed, it will improve the regional clean energy supply system, implement the national zero-carbon park strategy, and provide stable energy support for industrial development.

Shuangliang Boiler has tailored a system of 10 electrode steam boilers for the CNNC Jinta Gas Supply Station project, which serves as the core support for efficient energy conversion and flexible scheduling, fully meeting the design requirements of the zero-carbon energy island. At the same time, the electrode boiler system is responsible for providing safe, reliable, stable, and efficient steam output capabilities for the project's molten salt energy storage system at any time, providing dual guarantees for the green electricity supply of the zero-carbon energy island.

Efficient conversion of green electricity: Relying on a 1.6 million kilowatt clean energy project, it efficiently converts green electricity into stable industrial steam, with an annual steam supply of 2.58 million tons, providing full-cycle green energy security for the nuclear industry.

Stable zero-carbon energy supply: The project innovatively combines new energy generation, electric molten salt thermal storage, and electric steam boilers, adapting to local wind and solar resource characteristics, constructing a "wind/solar - thermal - storage" full-chain system, achieving clean steam supply and electrification at the end by replacing coal with electricity, marking a significant breakthrough for Shuangliang Boiler in the field of new energy consumption.

In addition to achieving remarkable results in the field of new energy consumption, Shuangliang Boiler also excels in three core areas: peak regulation for power plants, clean heating, and the construction of zero-carbon parks/factories. The electrode boiler and energy storage system cluster can provide flexible peak regulation solutions for nuclear and thermal power units, assisting in the stable operation of the power grid; reliable heating capabilities in extreme environments set industry benchmarks for zero-carbon heating in northern regions; and green electricity-driven high-pressure electrode steam technology can directly provide zero-carbon steam for industrial sectors, aiding high-energy-consuming parks/enterprises in transitioning to near-zero emissions.
