# RGC Resources, Inc. Reports Second Quarter Earnings

Roanoke, Virginia-based RGC Resources, Inc. (Nasdaq: RGCO) reported a consolidated Company profit of $8.7 million, equivalent to $0.84 per diluted share, for the quarter concluding on March 31, 2026. This reflects growth from the $7.7 million profit, or $0.74 per diluted share, achieved in the same period in 2025. The boost in earnings was primarily due to increased operating margins, aided by favorable interim base rates and despite rises in operating costs and depreciation. Moreover, gains from the Company's stake in the Mountain Valley Pipeline, LLC ("MVP") and reduced interest expenses were contributing factors to this improved performance.
