Matthew Galinko has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors, including Xperi’s solid first-quarter performance and its positioning for future growth in its media platform business. The company exceeded both his and the Street’s expectations on revenue and adjusted EBITDA, benefitting from a richer mix of higher-margin, point-in-time revenue and disciplined cost controls.

He also highlights management’s reaffirmed 2026 outlook, with growing monthly active users and a path to higher ARPU supported by advertising and the TiVo One ad platform rollout. With sufficient liquidity, modest debt, and shares trading at a steep discount to peers on an EV/EBITDA basis, he sees attractive upside to his unchanged $13 price target, particularly as the media platform and in-car audience initiatives scale into 2027.

In another report released on May 7, Craig-Hallum also maintained a Buy rating on the stock with a $9.00 price target.
