# India markets regulator proposes changes to smooth options trading during volatility

MUMBAI, May 25 (Reuters) - India's markets regulator has proposed changes in the framework for the pre-agreed price at which options contracts trade, according to a proposal paper published on the regulator's website on Monday. The proposal aims to make strike price availability more predictable for equity, currency and commodities derivatives trading when markets move sharply during the day.
