# Japan's Core Consumer Inflation Rate Rises to 2.8% in April

Japan's central bank announced on Tuesday that the country's core consumer inflation rate, excluding one-time factors, increased to 2.8% in April. According to Jin10, this figure surpasses the 2% target and marks an acceleration from March's 2.5%.
