# D-Wave Quantum Insider Sales Surface after QBTS Stock Soars on Quantum Funding Buzz

D-Wave Quantum Inc. (QBTS), a pure-play quantum computing company known for quantum annealing systems and its work on gate-model superconducting technology, is seeing fresh insider selling activity after a sharp run in investor interest in quantum stocks.

That last rally makes the latest insider filings worth watching, not because they necessarily signal a negative view of the business, but because they show insiders and affiliates taking liquidity while the stock trades at elevated levels.

On Friday, QBTS shares rose 14.22% to close at $29.40, after the U.S. Administration announced letters of intent for $2.013 billion in planned CHIPS and Science Act incentives across nine quantum companies.
