Patrick Dolezal has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors related to Sol-Gel’s lead asset and financial position. He emphasizes that the pivotal Phase 3 trial of SGT-610 in Gorlin syndrome remains on schedule for a key topline readout in Q4 2026, and that recent U.S. patent progress could secure market exclusivity for the product candidate into 2044, strengthening its long‑term commercial potential.

In addition, he highlights Sol-Gel’s ex-U.S. licensing deals for Twyneo and Epsolay, which could collectively contribute up to roughly $10 million in annual high-margin royalty revenue, helping to support the company’s cash runway. With about $52.8 million in cash and equivalents and an estimated 1.8 years of funding at the current burn rate, he views the balance sheet as sufficient to reach the SGT-610 Phase 3 data inflection, and accordingly maintains a Buy rating and an unchanged $184 price target.
