Together, they demonstrated Lenovo’s ecosystem strategy across three major areas: AI edge intelligence, AI hardware interaction, and advanced manufacturing. From RISC-V AI chips and AI creative workstations to AI glasses, dynamic gesture interaction, neural-control headphones, Micro-LED technology, perovskite solar batteries, and next-generation cooling solutions, these products not only reflected the trend of digital-physical integration, but also revealed Lenovo’s view of the future direction of the AI industry. Founded in 2022, the Lenovo Innovation Accelerator was created not simply to invest in startups, but to build a full-chain innovation platform covering productization, supply chain support, ecosystem collaboration, and global resources. Leveraging Lenovo’s strengths in global supply chains, intelligent manufacturing, and worldwide sales channels, the accelerator helps startups rapidly transform laboratory technologies into scalable and market-ready products. At the same time, many startups eventually become Lenovo customers or supply chain partners themselves, creating a genuine ecosystem cycle. In the AI sector, the Lenovo Innovation Accelerator is currently focused on AI applications and AI-native hardware. On the software side, the accelerator prioritizes vertical AI applications that can genuinely solve real-world problems for enterprises and consumers, especially products capable of on-device deployment, which offer advantages in cost, security, and efficiency. At the same time, the team’s ability to persist over the long term and successfully commercialize products is also considered critical. Over the past three years, the Lenovo Innovation Accelerator has facilitated more than 100 commercialization projects, with over a dozen startups entering Lenovo’s mass-production product ecosystem. The Focus Sound Screen PC developed with Audfly Acoustics has already entered mass production, while Taifang Technology’s elastic wave technology has been integrated into Lenovo laptop touchpads, with cumulative shipments reaching millions of units. Lenovo also helped Syrius Robotics build its first intelligent robotic production line. On the globalization front, the Lenovo Innovation Accelerator is working to bring the products of Chinese hard-tech startups to overseas markets.
