# Ainos Sinks on Release of New Article

Ainos, Inc. (NASDAQ:AIMD) shares began Wednesday trade on a downslope. The company, a Smell AI company digitizing scent into machine-readable data for artificial intelligence applications, today announced that Zacks Small-Cap Research has published a new article discussing Ainos' recently announced healthcare infrastructure study at National Taiwan University Hospital.

The article reviews Ainos' initiative to deploy AI Nose in a live emergency department environment and explores the potential role of Smell AI in environmental monitoring, healthcare infrastructure, and artificial intelligence applications.

According to the article, the Smell AI study represents an expansion of AI Nose beyond semiconductor manufacturing environments and into healthcare settings. The article also discusses Ainos' broader strategy of converting scent and volatile organic compound (VOC) signals into machine-readable Smell ID data that can be analyzed by AI systems.

The article notes that the NTUH program is expected to generate thousands of hours of environmental monitoring data and highlights Ainos' efforts to develop a scalable Smell AI platform through AI Nose, Smell ID, and its Smell Language Model.

AI Nose digitizes scent into Smell ID, an AI-driven form of scent intelligence. The full-stack electronic nose platform integrates high-precision MEMS sensor arrays with proprietary AI algorithms designed to support ppb-level scent detection sensitivity, subject to application conditions and deployment configurations.

AIMD shares lost seven cents, or 3%, to $2.29.
