# Arm predicts: Storage chips are in tight supply, and the company may achieve its revenue targets ahead of schedule; the semiconductor equipment ETF E Fund (159558) saw its benchmark index rise over 2% in early trading, aiming for a three-day winning streak

As of 9:48, the Shanghai Stock Exchange STAR Chip Index (000685) rose by 1.3%. Among the weighted stocks, Biwin rose by 3.68%, Lattice Semiconductor rose by 3.42%, and Hua Hong Semiconductor rose by 1.35%, while Source Code Technology fell by 1.57% and XD Tuojing Technology fell by 0.03%. As of the previous trading day, the index has increased by 141.82% over the past year.

The STAR Chip ETF E Fund (589130) has been favored by investors, attracting over 550 million in the past 10 days and over 880 million in the past 20 days.

In news, at the Computex 2026 computer exhibition, Samsung Electronics showcased its eighth-generation high-bandwidth memory chip HBM5 for the first time and publicly launched its HPB (HeatPassBlock) cooling solution.

According to reports, Samsung Electronics plans to produce HBM5 chips using its self-developed 2nm process, with mass production expected around 2028. The HPB will be a core thermal management technology widely applied in this process. Industrial Securities stated that it will continue to focus on the most certain direction of AI internal prosperity, and for the domestic semiconductor industry chain, it still has strong consensus as the direction with the greatest marginal changes in the medium to long term.

Orient Securities believes that the breakthroughs in new products from Yangtze Memory Technologies and the progress of Changxin HBM3 will stimulate expansion momentum, making 2026 a significant capital expenditure year for the "two storage" companies. Driven by AI inference demand, both NAND/DRAM original manufacturers and the equipment material chain are in an upward cycle, while liquid cooling, high-speed interconnection, PCB, and other ultra-node supporting links also benefit from the iteration of cabinet architecture, forming a multi-dimensional growth logic on the Opex side.

The STAR Chip ETF E Fund (589130) closely tracks the Shanghai Stock Exchange STAR Chip Index, which selects securities related to semiconductor materials and equipment, chip design, chip manufacturing, chip packaging, and testing from listed companies on the STAR Market to reflect the overall performance of representative chip industry listed companies.

The STAR Chip ETF E Fund (589130) has off-exchange connection funds (020670, 020671)
