# OFILM launched the RoboVision series first product, the Dex400R camera, empowering the development of the robotics industry

Recently, OFILM officially launched the first product of the RoboVision series, the Dex400R camera, which supports D2C+IMU synchronization, data acquisition, external triggering, and other modes. It can achieve hand-eye coordination, unordered grabbing, and obstacle avoidance in both near and far fields, tailored for general robotic scenarios.

Currently, the robotics industry is entering a period of rapid development, but general vision cameras have prominent shortcomings in practical applications: issues such as unsynchronized visual and motion data, blind spots in near and far distance measurements, and failure to recognize in low-light and low-texture environments severely restrict the stability and accuracy of high-speed dynamic operations of robots. To address these pain points, the Dex400R focuses on core scenarios such as robotic arm grabbing recognition, data collection, and blind spot avoidance, deeply customizing through hardware-level synchronization, global shutter, and IMU fusion, fundamentally solving industry challenges and ensuring efficient and stable operation of robots under complex working conditions.

In terms of core performance, the Dex400R achieves comprehensive breakthroughs, balancing miniaturization and high precision requirements. The product body is compact, measuring only 45mm×28mm×28mm, suitable for the limited installation space of robots. Its perception accuracy is industry-leading, with a recognition accuracy of <1.5mm at close distances of 10-20cm, achieving millimeter-level ultra-high perception; the error at long distances is less than 1%, with a measurement blind spot of only 5cm, perfectly covering all scenarios of precise near-field grabbing, gap detection, and far-field environmental perception. The interface design is unique in the industry, adopting a USB+GMSL dual interface configuration, supporting both local direct connection and long-distance anti-interference transmission needs, flexibly adapting to multiple deployment scenarios in industrial and robotic applications, significantly expanding application boundaries.

In terms of usability and integration efficiency, the Dex400R also performs excellently. The camera supports one-stop data output of RGB+Depth+IMU, eliminating the need for complex secondary development, significantly lowering the integration threshold for customers and shortening project implementation cycles. The built-in IMU fusion module can achieve real-time motion compensation, assisting in the deep integration of visual and inertial data, effectively improving mapping accuracy in open scenes, making robot positioning more reliable. At the same time, it is equipped with full-scene D2C and professional data acquisition modes, further simplifying the development process and helping the robotics industry achieve rapid intelligent upgrades.

Morgan Stanley data shows that the scale of the Chinese robotics market will continue to expand at an average annual growth rate of 23%, expected to reach USD 108 billion by 2028, with extremely broad prospects for industrial development.
