# Beam Global Surges 9% on European Battery Thermal Management Patent

Beam Global (BEEM) surged **9%** during regular trading to **$1.29**.

The European Patent Office granted the company a patent for its Smart Phase Change Composite battery thermal management technology. The passive system regulates battery temperature without active cooling, expanding Beam Global's intellectual property portfolio in Europe and strengthening its competitive position amid growing electrification demand.
