# [Automobile Industry Bloodbath] 8 car companies reportedly have their production qualifications revoked, ZOTYE: Qualifications are legal and valid

According to a report from Economic Information Daily on the 18th, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has released the "Announcement on the Production Enterprises and Products of Road Motor Vehicles" (Batch 408), which shows that eight automobile companies, including FAW Xiali, Brilliance Auto, ZOTYE (Shenzhen: 000980), Leopard, Lifan, Huatai, BAIC Yinxiang (Huasong), and Old Haima, have been officially removed from the vehicle manufacturer list, and their vehicle production qualifications have been frozen and permanently invalidated.

In response, ZOTYE stated on the investor interaction platform on the 16th that the report contains false information. ZOTYE is listed in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's "Directory of Road Motor Vehicle Production Enterprises," with directory serial number 149, and its qualifications are legal and valid. Relevant information can be verified through the official channels of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the company's information should be based on legal announcements.

According to domestic media reports, on June 17th, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology stated that among the eight companies rumored to have their production qualifications revoked, only FAW Xiali had canceled its access permit many years ago. Among the remaining seven companies, only some have canceled or plan to cancel individual production addresses, and not the entire vehicle production qualifications. (wn)
