# Sunshine Oilsands Wins Shareholder Backing for Major Share Placing Mandate

Sunshine Oilsands ( (HK:2012) ) just unveiled an announcement.

Sunshine Oilsands shareholders have approved an ordinary resolution authorizing the placing of up to 114,280,000 new shares under a placing agreement, following a special meeting held in Hong Kong and Calgary. The vote, overseen by Computershare Hong Kong as scrutineer, passed with approximately 74.81% of votes in favour and 25.19% against, granting directors a specific mandate to allot, issue and deal with the new shares.
