The DJIA once surged more than 800 points, but erased most of its gains by the close to finish at 51,920 points, up 0.14%. The HSI opened at 22,952 points this morning (26th), down 124 points or 0.54%. The HSCEI opened at 7,575 points, down 33 points or 0.44%. The HSTECH opened at 4,371 points, down 34 points or 0.78%. Among major tech stocks, NTES-S (09999.HK) +5.400 (+2.970%) Short selling $269.99M; Ratio 27.620% opened up 3.3%, BABA-W (09988.HK) \-3.900 (-4.105%) Short selling $960.34M; Ratio 7.142% fell another 3.16%, while TENCENT (00700.HK) \-6.400 (-1.519%) Short selling $980.81M; Ratio 7.871% and MEITUAN-W (03690.HK) \-1.250 (-1.891%) Short selling $745.98M; Ratio 17.895% opened down less than 1%.
