China's A-share IPO underwriting market saw shifts in the first half of 2026, with 71 companies listing, up 39.22% from 51 a year earlier, according to 36Kr, citing Choice data based on officially listed deals. Total net funds raised reached RMB 63.964 billion, up 91.25% from RMB 33.446 billion in the same period last year. Against a broader market recovery, Guotai Haitong, China International Capital Corp (CICC) and CITIC Securities led the underwriting rankings, while mid-sized brokerages such as Soochow Securities and Guojin Securities gained ground by focusing on Beijing Stock Exchange-related business.
