# China Vanke Pledges RMB1.14 Billion in Receivables to Secure Shenzhen Metro Loan

China Vanke Co ( (HK:2202) ) has issued an update.

China Vanke has entered into a new pledge agreement involving its controlling subsidiary Beijing Zhongsheng Xingjian Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. and substantial shareholder Shenzhen Metro Group. The agreement leverages accounts receivable from a specific project, underscoring the developer’s continued dependence on asset-backed financing to maintain stability in its capital structure.

Under the pledge agreement, Beijing Zhongsheng Xingjian will pledge RMB1,140 million in accounts receivable to Shenzhen Metro Group as security for an existing loan of the same amount to China Vanke. All parties will complete pledge registration and arrange repayments according to the loan and pledge terms, formalizing the connected transaction and providing additional assurance to lenders and other stakeholders regarding the company’s repayment performance.
