Semiconductor, auto and media shares led gains, with SMIC, Leapmotor and Meitu rising more than 2%. Energy, software services and coal stocks lagged, with Zhipu AI, UBTech and PetroChina down more than 3%, and China Shenhua Energy off 1%.
