# Cross-Sector Moves: Cisco's AI Push and Broad Capital Restructuring

We are seeing active capital allocation and business restructuring across a diverse group of companies this week. I'm told that several under-the-radar names are accelerating their internal shifts, marking a highly significant overhaul for these sectors so far this year. Whether it is big tech or traditional manufacturing, managements are loading up for the second half of 2026.

### Cisco Systems (CSCO.US)

I'm told that Cisco is aggressively shifting toward software, security, and AI infrastructure. According to the recently reported Q3 fiscal 2026 results, total revenue reached **USD 15.84 billion**, up **12%** year-over-year. People familiar with the matter noted that while AI demand pushed networking revenue to **USD 8.82 billion**, the company is still undergoing restructuring. Alongside the acquisition of Astrix Security in May 2026, Cisco plans to cut nearly **4,000 jobs**, signaling a tight grip on costs even as it expands its AI portfolio.

### Southern Copper (SCCO.US)

The mining company completed a **USD 1.25 billion** bond offering in late June 2026 to finance its Tía María project. I'm told that Southern Copper has raised its 2026 copper production guidance to **915,400 tons**. Despite some macro headwinds, the company posted an EPS of **USD 1.92** in the recent quarter, easily beating consensus estimates.

### Shenzhou International (SHECY.US)

The Greater China-based apparel manufacturer is navigating a complex reality. While fiscal 2025 revenue grew **8.1%** to **RMB 31 billion**, net income dropped due to margin pressures. According to people familiar with the matter, the company launched a massive share repurchase program in mid-June 2026 to buy back over **150 million shares**, or **10%** of its issued capital, attempting to bolster investor confidence.

### Waystar (WAY.US)

The healthcare cloud technology provider reported **USD 313.9 million** in Q1 2026 revenue, a **22%** year-over-year jump. I'm told that the board authorized a **USD 200 million** share buyback program in May, reflecting management's strong confidence in the company's free cash flow and long-term outlook.

### LexinFintech (LX.US)

The credit-tech platform recently saw changes in its insider holdings. Filings from July 2026 show that insiders updated their stakes, holding roughly **6.1%** of the outstanding shares. Analysts have recently adjusted their valuation models, citing more challenging revenue growth expectations and margin outlooks ahead.
